December Photo Challenge Day 1

Everyday od month December I will post one pic everyday...I have the list somewhere on my instagram but I don't know what the fuck happend to it :O :D So here comes the first day 1st of December which was a selfie!

My hair timeline -2nd round

Ok here is the next part of my timeline of my hair. Some pictures make me still laugh really hard :)

I used to buy my hair dyes from local drug store in my hometown Pilsen (Czech Republic). I can't remember what brand the first colors were...Later I found out there are Directions, Manic Panic...etc. Directions hair dyes are really good especially their blues - midnight and lagoon blue. I did try the red one but it washed out really fast. Usually when I do my hair with blue I don''t need them re-doing for like 2-3weeks which is very good I would say. Of course all of these hair dyes will wash out because they're SEMI PERMANENT ;) some people are stupid and are really surprised when the color washing out...oh really? :D Anyway will put more pics on. I have all of them on facebook so I don't have to dig into my computer of calling my brother to dig these for me back in CZ. If somebody reading this shit let me know what else you'd like to read/know and I will do my best to post :))

Lazy, lazy...lazyyyy / My hair timeline

I knew it..oh well I have some ideas for my next posts...I got an email from some girl today asking how I do my hair and she wanted some tips...so I will do that next time...I have a lot of friends asking me how it come my hair are still attached to my head :D i find it very funny lol

Past 11 years I have had loads of colors on my hair and some of them I really liked some of them not so much.

I always did my hair on my own - except when I started.. I was 13yo my dad did them and it was only that shit shampoo which stays on for like 1 week? It was bright red and on my dark-ish brown it looked kind a nice. I don't have any picture from that days...then I had real color from brand ''I don't remember the name of'' and it was red again. So I started off with red then I had blond....red..blond...black...back to blond...back to black..I was black haired for a quite time from 2003/4, 2005 black , redd...2006 blond... I think...then the scene and emo time came lol so I have had pink, blue, orange, black with pink, cotton candy...black with blue...green..blue..black with blue,purple and pink, black and brown, black and white/blond, brown and white, purple with brown bits...Crazy!

I will post some pictures something like my hair timeline. When I look back on them some of them make me laugh really hard but well everybody went through some ''evolution'' so as did I.

Saturday in the Mall

Saturday was a long day. I woke up just 10minutes before 7am and it was still dark outside. Who wants wake up on saturday at this time uuugh not me but I have to. Spend whole morning decorating Gabby's bedroom and doing literally nothing. These mornings always fly by fast because half of the time bejba is sleeping and I finish before 12. After that I went into shower and I did put a make up. Will try to wear it more often as I barely ever do! I don't feel good in make up but will try slowly and of course kids they don't need to see me in make up...that's a waste :D so I guess good try but will put it on only for some party occasion and of course for Halloween - looooooooads of make up!

Shopping is always good...sometimes exhausting from walking through the shops for more than 4hours but at the end of the day you are happy with your purchase after all. I really don't like the mall in Columbia. It's way too big and especially on saturday there are toooo many people everywhere. I was looking and waiting for parking spot for 25! minutes. That''s just ridiculous! I don't shop often because I kind of hate shopping :D but when I go shopping I have to buy at least something to wear and something what I absolutely will never use. But that''s how it is and I didn't buy much. Just things that I REALLY need...yeah sure. It was a good shopping day and at the end we have had coffee in Starbucks. Mikejla was not so happy with her shopping day - She had only 4 bags :D :X hahaha she is never happy lol

I also bought two wigs for halloween. One is hot pink and the other one is like on the picture. I can't really find a good color word for that color... maybe like dak-ish red. Then I have the wig cap which supposed hold your hair in one place to be able to put your wig on but I did try it and doesn't seem to work :/ and last thing I bought is white blank mask. It looks really creepy on..will see if I will wear it for Halloween or not.

So that's all for now...New week...new adventures can start :)

Getting ready for Halloween

Some of the masks we tried on while shopping in Columbia mall in the Halloween store. It was so much fun! We really enjoyed the blank white mask so I and Mikejla bought one each.
I also bought two wigs - pink one on the picture and different one which is medium red. I am still thinking about which one I will wear. Will post more photos tomorrow ;)
Really enjoyed afternoon out in shopping center but my bank account is broken...I am broken! :( :D I bought some other things and I will show them to you tomorrow in my next post..Now I am going to Zzzzz'...

It's friday

...and that means work from 11am till 8pm today. I just finished. It's still raining. But I like it :))
I walked the dogs like 5times today just to get out of the house and walk in the rain. I usually go with my hostkiddos but since older one is in school and bejba is ill and was sleeping I went on my own.

Farm style :D

Yesterday I finally watched movie called American Mary (IMDB link). I would give it 5* but nope...I really enjoyed the whole movie but didn't expect Mary to die. I cried a little bit....:D I seriously though she would get away with everything and just have her own little surgery clinic but nope that bastard husband of the barbie doll had to kill her. If you haven't seen this movie you should check it out. It's full off body modifications and different ankle of view on this whole industry. Full of blood and sex. I would not recommend it for those who scares easy and don't like cutting and blood. Overall it''s a ''nice'' horror with women in the front off everything which is nice change for once.

        

I wonder what to watch tonight but I guess I will finish with Midsomer Murders again as days before. I love these mini series :)

Also I am looking on the websites for a halloween contact lenses but everything is sooo expensive with the postage I think tomorrow when I go to Columbia mall meet up with Mikejla I will stop at halloween store and take a look on some costumes, wigs etc. I have a make up already. I bought it on ebay :) Can't wait for this year Halloween. Last year I''ve spent it with my Host Family. This year we hopefully go to the party with my french girl - Julie. Julie lives close to me here in Maryland and we came the same day to the USA - 16/17 of September 2012 (same orientation with APIA -Au Pair in America agency). She is one of my closest friends here in US. <3

Tomorrow as I said we are going to do some shopping so maybe I will do post afterwards. Something like little shopping haul.

It's raining

I always have loved this weather and especially in autumn. It reminds me of one day in 2008 when I was in London. Maybe in that very moment everything changed. I love walking in the woods after rain. It smells soo good.

Today it's raining. I just kind a like to watch falling rain drops on the roof, listening to that nice sound. Everything reminds me of England these days. I want to go back so bad every day. I miss British people, British driving on the opposite of the road, I miss Primark, I miss my crazy english family, my friends over there, red post boxes, red telephone boots, little black taxi cars, countryside...I miss everything British!

When it's raining I miss England the most.

Some people have depression in this kind of weather and even if I sound very sad I am not. I am happy today. I am happy that I have made that decision 5 years ago not to sit on my ass at home and leave. Travel. See new things. New cultures.
Some people stay at home (in their home country) for rest of their lives without seeing anything in the world. These people are sad. Not me.

Just a few...about me

Actually I didn't want to write anything like this at first but then I thought - why not? So this is a little bit about me....

So here I am..In USA right now taking care of kids. Have spend 2years and 4months in UK...taking care of kids :D I think I will be with them until my days are done on this planet.

Ok...going to start that old good 'cliche'

My name is Dana and I will turn 25 in January. Pretty old if you ask me...or Mikejla :D Ana I always like to say ''quarter of century'' that's something serious.
I come from Czech Republic, from Pilsen - everybody knows Pilsner Urquell, right? So that exactly where I grew up.
I have a younger brother....blaaa blaaaa Ok that's like everything important you need to know :P oh and I do love traveling, kids, tattoos, alternative everything, coloring my own hair, my friends, family, host familiies and enjoying life....

If you now asking what this all will be about....I think just my moaning :D My goal is to post every day something different every day. Maybe just pictures with captions...or review on some hair dyes...maybe movie/series I enjoyed last time, books (which I never read :D), I really like 'Things that made my Monday', or maybe project 365..will see. I will try not to write about my host kids/family as much as I would love to because that's why I have the other blog but if it's necessary I will and just a little...just a tiny bit :)
I will try post diferent things from life in USA...compared to UK and CZ...which is my absolute favorite part because I love UK and I love Czech food and American way how to pissed people in 5seconds - that is my favorite of all time!

to my...hell knows what numbers blog of mine this is :D I have had a lot of them..I still have one which is mainly about my life abroad working as an au-pair and is it in Czech language so I wanted to do something dieferent this time. I will be posting on this one mainly in English and please if I do some mistakes in writing excuse my English I am NOT a native speaker. We do speak czech in Czech Republic..I know that''s surprising isn't it? :D
